So far we have let it cook slowly in the oven. The goal is to come up with a way to not only dump all the textures of a PlayStation1 game, but also to replace them with user-supplied textures.ĭoing this is hard with PlayStation renderers due to the general low level of abstraction of these renderers, which is why it’s not exactly a commonplace feature in many PS1 emulators. So this has been a project that has been cooking in the oven for about a year in the form of a bounty. In Mesen, navigate to "options," "general," then make sure there is a check mark next to "Use integer scale values when entering fullscreen mode.DISCLAIMER: Libretro as a group or entity has no affiliation or involvement in the creation of assets contained in any texture pack Note 5: This is optional, but I recommend turning on integer scaling for the best look. If your game has this warning at the continue screen, it is not the correct version: "CAUTION TO AVOID DAMAGING GAME INFO SAVED, HOLD IN RESET BUTTON AS YOU TURN POWER OFF." The continue screen of PRG1 has the following warning at the continue screen. Note 4: Keep in mind there is another version of Zelda for NES (PRG1) which is not compatible with this pack. The pack must be used with a USA Zelda ROM (PRG0) that has a SHA-1 checksum of DAB79C84934F9AA5DB4E7DAD390E5D0C12443FA2 or it will not operate correctly.
RETROARCH N64 TEXTURE PACKS DOWNLOAD
Note 3: This is merely a resource pack and the download will not work all by itself. The last stable build listed on the legacy Mesen website (Feb 1, 2020), is not compatible. Note 2: This pack requires the use of a version of Mesen that was recently forked by the author of HDNes (mkwong98). However, please be aware that this version is missing certain features like ocean waves and fog effects. Trying the “Low CPU” version may help with this. If you are experiencing slowdowns with scratchy sound, it may be because your CPU isn’t keeping up. Note 1: Mesen is relatively CPU intensive and this pack is also quite demanding. Added 8-Bit Music in the Alternate Sound Folder.
